Concrete Cube Testing Services in Lincoln & Surround Areas

Using a weak or substandard concrete mix could have disastrous consequences and completely compromise the structural integrity of a building, so it’s vital to ensure your concrete is of the highest quality and boasts exceptional compressive strength. That’s where concrete cube testing comes in.

Here at Kettle and Black, we provide concrete cube testing services to customers across Lincoln, Sleaford, Woodhall Spa and beyond. This process involves taking a sample from a batch of concrete and, as the name suggests, pouring it into a cube-shaped mould.

This mould is then left to cure but will be tested twice, usually at the 7-day and 28-day mark, using a calibrated compression machine. This machine exerts a considerable amount of force on the sample and measures at what point structural failure occurs.

By cube testing concrete, you’re afforded peace of mind and can rest assured that your concrete mix meets the highest standards and complies with all regulatory requirements.

To ensure your concrete is up to task and to avoid any complications later on, get in touch with the team at Kettle and Black and find out more about our cube testing equipment and products. Our team boasts years of experience and a keen eye for detail, so we’ll always ensure you receive a top-quality concrete batch that meets your exact needs.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Brilliant. Great service on the phone, easy to organise. Good availability, good price and really nice helpful driver. Even better, they mix what you need so you don’t have to overorder and then loose 3/4 of a cube somewhere. I will definitely use again.
