Here at Kettle and Black, we provide concrete cube testing services to customers across Lincoln, Sleaford, Woodhall Spa and beyond. This process involves taking a sample from a batch of concrete and, as the name suggests, pouring it into a cube-shaped mould.

This mould is then left to cure but will be tested twice, usually at the 7-day and 28-day mark, using a calibrated compression machine. This machine exerts a considerable amount of force on the sample and measures at what point structural failure occurs.
